Move to Florida if you want to save money on taxes! Florida is one of few states that does not require its residents to pay state income taxes. Sales taxes and property taxes are still required but your overall taxes will be way less in Florida than other states. The eight cities listed are Sarasota, Naples, Daytona Beach, Melbourne, Tampa, Fort Myers, Port St. Lucie, and Pensacola. The state ranks among the most retirement-friendly in the nation! Some of the reasons except the beautiful weather are that Florida doesn’t tax retirement income such as Social Security benefits. And there’s no estate and inheritance taxes.

8. It’s great job market

The GDP (gross domestic products) in Florida is one of the largest in the nation. Florida’s GDP equals roughly the entire country of Mexico. With such big economy Florida needs a lot of employees run it and jobs are plentiful. Among the top industries are financial services, information technology, aviation, clean-tech, manufacturing and distribution as well as tourism and hospitality. Admittedly, the jobs aren’t always high-paying ones. However, if you have a degree or experience in an in-demand industry, you should have no problem finding a good job in Florida.

There is no shortageof fun and exciting places to visit in Florida. You will never have to travel for vacation again. Visit one of the state’s many beaches, theme parks and attractions – there are 100’s of vacation/staycation options to choose from all within a few hours drive. You will find anything from secluded beaches along the Paradise Coast (Gulf Coast) to the family-friendly theme parks of Disney World.
